Abstract To explore the improved purse string suture during laparoscopic uterine horn pregnancy surgery of patients for preconditioning of their hemostasis. Methods: The clinical data of 11 patients with uterine horn pregnancy who had received the improved purse string suture during laparoscopic surgery from February 2022 to February 2023 were collected retrospectively. The therapeutic effect of the surgery was analyzed. Results: The intraoperative blood loss of 11 patients ranged from 5 to 100ml, and the operation time of the patients was 35 to 90 minutes. None of the patients suffered from the collateral injury or the emergency conversion to laparotomy. 6 patients had not taken mifepristone orally because of the satisfaction of the decrease of the serum HCG level after the surgery, and 5 patients had taken 200mg mifepristone tablets orally once for consolidation treatment. The serum β HCG level of 11 patients within 1 month after surgery had decreased to normal, and the menstruation of these patients was normal after surgery. Conclusion: The improved purse string suture during laparoscopic surgery of the patients with uterine horn pregnancy is safe and effective, which is worthy of the clinical application.
