Abstract Cervical cancer is one of the malignant tumors affecting women's health. Early screening is conducive to timely diagnosis and treatment, which is of great significance for reducing the incidence and mortality of the women with cervical cancer. Currently, the common screening method for cervical cancer was three-stage screening, namely, cervical cytology test/human papilloma virus (HPV) test, colposcopy examination, and biopsy. Various new biomarkers have enriched the screening methods of cervical cancer. How to select the screening methods has always been the focus of clinical researchers. Based on this, this paper summarizes the routine screening methods and detection indexes of cervical cancer to provide reference for the selection of screening method.
