Abstract To understand the current situation of postpartum rehabilitation service in district and county maternal and children health hospital of Chongqing, and to provide decision-making reference for making policies, norms and standards. Methods: A self-designed structured questionnaire was used to collect relevant data, and then statistical analysis was conducted. Results: The postpartum rehabilitation service had been carried out generally in district and county maternal and children health hospitals of Chongqing, but the scale, department setting, department management, service items, and charging standards in different hospitals had existed differences with many hidden problems. Conclusion: There is no uniform standard in the postpartum rehabilitation service, which seriously affects the development of the postpartum rehabilitation services. The relevant policies, norms and standards should be formulated and improved in time for strengthening management and ensuring safety.
