Abstract Phthalates is the widespread low toxic environmental pollutants, which produces reproductive toxicity by interfering with the important endocrine pathway of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonad axis. Phthalates has adverse affect on the development, reproduction, and hormone secretion of male reproductive system. The phthalates exposure can cause abnormal development of fetal reproductive organs of the pregnant women, can disturb the reproductive system development of male adolescents, can impact the sperm maturity and vitality, can damage the male reproductive system, and can affect the male fertility.
