Investigation and analysis of situation of anxiety and depression of unmarried pregnant women in hospital outpatient clinic |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the situation of anxiety and depression of unmarried pregnant women in hospital outpatient clinic, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods: The unmarried pregnant women who had experienced artificial abortion in population and family planning maternal and child service center of Heshun county from 2012 to 2016 were selected as the subjects, and the questionnaire was used to investigate the situation of anxiety and depression of those women, and its influencing factors were also analyzed. Results: In the past 5 years, the number of unmarried pregnant women who had experienced artificial abortion increased year by year, but the incidences of anxiety and depression were decreased year by year. The proportions of women less than <20 years old, the level of education equal to or less than primary school, or gravidity equal to or more than 2 times were increased year by year (P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis had showed that older age, high education level, and gravidity equal to or more than 2 times were the protective factors of anxiety, depression, or depression combined with anxiety in unmarried pregnant women. Conclusion: In recent years, the number of unmarried pregnant women who experienced artificial abortion in hospital outpatient clinic of population and family planning maternal and child service center of Heshun county is increasing, but the proportion of women with anxiety or depression is reducing. The incidences of anxiety and depression of unwanted pregnant women are influenced by age, education level and gravidity times, so it should be paid more attention to.
