Abstract To investigate the application effect of the diversified rehabilitation health intervention for the postoperative recovery of patients with uterine fibroids surgery. Methods: 80 patients with uterine fibroids who wanted laparoscopic surgery were selected and were divided into control group (n=40) and observation group (n=40) by random drawing method during February 2021-March 2023. The patients in the control group were given conventional nursing care after surgery for 1 week and the patients in the observation group were given the diversified rehabilitation health intervention nursing care after surgery for 1 week. The postoperative recovery time, the scores of visual analog scale (VAS), self-assessment scale for anxiety (SAS), self-assessment scale for depression (SDS) and WHO quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF), and the complications rate of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results: The time of the first getting out of bed (11.33±2.89 h), the exhaust time (16.92±2.08 h), the duration of hospital stay (5.26±2.02 d) and the time of taking out stitches of incision (14.37±1.06 d) of the patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than those (15.26±3.17h, 23.39±3.28h, 8.59±2.79d and 16.33±1.52d) of the patients in the control group. The scores of SAS and SDS of the patients in both groups in the postoperative 3d and 7d had decreased significantly, and which (39.26±3.27 points and 39.49±3.11 points) of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those (58.36±3.29 points and 52.36±4.46 points) of the patients in the control group. The WHOQOL-BREF score of the patients in both groups had increased significantly, and which (87.78±3.82 points) of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that (78.61±4.19 points) of the patients in the control group. The incidence of the postoperative complications (17.5%) of the patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that (37.5%) of the patients in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of the diversified rehabilitation health intervention for the patients with uterine fibroids surgery during perioperative period can effectively shorten their recovery time, improve their postoperative pain score, adverse psychology and postoperative quality of life, and reduce their incidence of postoperative complications.
