Abstract To investigate the correlation between the expressions of G protein-coupled receptor 4 (LGR4), Ki-67, and survivin of women and their high risk human papilloma virus (hr-HPV) infection, and to study the value of the expressions of LGR4, Ki-67, and survivin of these women for diagnosing their cervical cancer. Methods: The clinical data of 102 women with hr-HPV infection from September 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research subjects retrospectively. These women were divided into group A (61 with multiple infection of hr-HPV) and group B (41 women with single infection of hr-HPV), and were also divided into group C (33 women with cervical cancer) and group D (69 women without cervical cancer). The expressions of LGR4, Ki-67, and survivin of the women were compared between group A and group B, and between group C and group D. The correlation of the positive expressions of LGR4, Ki-67 protein, and survivin of the women and their multiple infection of hr-HPV was analyzed. The efficacy of the expressions of LGR4, Ki-67 protein, and survivin of the women for diagnosing their cervical cancer was also analyzed. Results: The level of LGR4 (51.68±12.68pg/ml), and the positive cells rates of Ki-67 (83.5±13.2%) and survivin (86.8±14.7 %) of the women in group A were significantly higher than those (42.65±6.79pg/ml, 70.6%±11.9%, and 74.6%±12.5%) of the women in group B. The LGR4 level (58.04±12.39pg/ml), and the positive cells rates of Ki-67 (89.9±11.7 %) and survivin (94.2±11.4%) of the women in group C were significantly higher than those (43.27±7.39pg/ml, 72.8%±11%, and 76.0%±12.8%) of the women in group D (all P<0.05). Kendall's tau-b correlation analysis showed that the positive expressions of LGR4, Ki-67 and survivin of the women were positively correlated with their multiple infection of hr-HPV (P<0.05). The incidence of cervical cancer of the women with high expressions of positive LGR4, Ki-67, and survivin was significantly higher than that of the women with low expressions of positive LGR4, Ki-67, and survivin (P<0.05). The area under curves of the expressions of LGR4, Ki-67, and survivin of the women for diagnosing their cervical cancer were 0.880, 0.856, and 0.875, respectively, the sensitivity of which were 97.0%, 78.8%, and 81.8%, respectively, and the specificity of which were 100.0%, 89.9%, and 89.9%, respectively. Conclusion: The expression level of LGR4 and the positive cells rates of Ki-67 and survivin of the women have changed with the type of their HPV infection, and the dynamic monitoring of which can provide important references for diagnosing cervical cancer of these women.
