Abstract To observe the situation of urinary tract injury of women during the total hysterectomy, and to explore the relevant influencing factors. Methods: The clinical data of 800 women with benign uterine lesions who had undergone total hysterectomy from March 2014 to March 2022 were analyzed retrospectively. 8 women with intraoperative urinary tract injury were included in study group, and 64 women selected from the other 792 women without intraoperative urinary tract injury were included in control group. The clinical data of the women were compared between the two groups. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of intraoperative urinary tract injury of the women. Results: The age, body mass index (BMI), uterine volume, history of previous pelvic surgery, history of endometriosis, intraoperative blood loss, and operation time of the women in the study group were significantly higher than those of the women in control group (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the increase of BMI, the uterine volume equal to or more than the volume in 10 gestational weeks, the history of previous pelvic surgery, and the history of endometriosis of the women were the independent risk factors of their intraoperative urinary tract injury (P<0.05). Conclusion: The BMI, the uterine volume, the previous history of pelvic surgery, and the history of endometriosis of the women are the independent risk factors of the urinary tract injury of the women during hysterectomy.
