Abstract To explore the application of individualized labor management of primipara during delivery, and to study its influence on their delivery mode and pregnancy outcomes. Methods: 80 primipara were selected and were divided into control group and study group according to different labor management schemes (40 cases in each group) from January 2019 to June 2019. The primipara in the control group were performed routine labor management, while the primipara in the study group were performed individualized labor management except to the routine labor management. The cooperation situation of primipara during delivery, delivery outcomes, duration of labor, and adverse mood improvement of the primipara were compared between the two groups. Results: The coordination rate (77.8%) of the primipara during delivery in the study group was significant better than that (97.5%) of the primipara in the control group, the delivery mode of the primipara in the study group was significant superior to that of the primipara in the control group, and the duration of each stage of labor during natural delivery of the primipara in the study group was significant shorter than that of the primipara in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) of the primipara in the study group were 12.7±3.5 points and 14.8±3.6 points, which were significant lower than those (15.6±4.0 points and 18.6±4.7 points) of the primipara in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Individualized labor management can effectively improve the maternal cooperate degree of the primipara during delivery and their rate of natural delivery, and can reduce the incidence of cesarean section and shorten the duration of labor. Compared with conventional labor management, individualized labor management also can effectively improve the bad mood of primipara.
