Abstract To observe the intervention effects and pregnancy outcomes of ursodeoxycholic acid combined with butane disulfonate ademetionine for treating pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) and hepatitis B (HB). Methods: 100 women with ICP and HB were selected and divided into two groups between February 2016 and January 2019. 42 women in the control group were treated with butane disulfonate ademetionine for 2 weeks, and 58 women in the observation group were treated with ursodeoxycholic acid combined with butane disulfonate ademetionine for 2 weeks. The scores of itching degree of the women in the two groups before and after treatment were recorded. The changes of the levels of biochemical indicators, such as serum total bile acid (TBA), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), asparta. recorded.te aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TB) and direct bilirubin (DB), of the women in the two groups before and after treatment were detected. The effect and pregnancy outcomes of the women were compared between the two groups. Results: The effective rate of the women in the observation group (91.4%) was significant higher than that (73.8%) of the women in the control group (P<0.05). After 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, the itching degree score (1.21±0.37 points and 1.01±0.29 points) of the women in the observation group were significant lower than those (3.09±0.61 points and 2.49±0.45 points) of the women in the control group, the time of itching disappearance (4.92±1.03d) and the time of jaundice disappearance (5.47±1.24d) of the women in the observation group were significant shorter than those (7.10±1.12d and 8.21±1.39d) of the women in the control group. The serum AST, ALT, TBA, TB and DB levels of the women in the observation group were significant lower than those before treatment and than those of the women in the control group and (P<0.05). The incidences of cesarean section (20.7%) and premature delivery (8.6%) of the women in the observation group were significant lower than those (42.9% and 23.8%) of the women in the control group, but the newborn weight (3.8±0.7kg) was significant higher than that (2.9±0.5kg) in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: Ursodeoxycholic acid combined with butane disulfonate ademetionine for treating pregnant women with ICP and HB can effectively relieve their itching degree, reduce their liver functionrelated biochemical indexes levels, and improve their pregnancy outcomes, so it has good clinical effect.
