Abstract To study the effect of pidomod for adjuvant treating women with non-gonococcal urethritis on their serum inflammatory factors and their secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) levels in cervical secretions. Methods: From December 2016 to February 2019, 100 women with nongonococcal uremitis were selected and were divided into two groups. The women in the control group were treated with antibiotics, and the women in the observation group were treated with pidomod on the basis of antibiotic treatment. The clinical effect of the women in the two groups was analyzed. Results: The total effective rate and negative rate of pathogen clearance of the women in the observation group were 94.0% and 78.0%, which were significant higher than those(80.0% and 58.0%) of the women in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of sIgA and IFN-γin cervical secretions of the women in the observation group were 48.3±16.2 mg/L and 114.3±27.0ng/L, which were significant higher than those of the women in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of hypersensitive C reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) of the women in the observation group were 2.2±0.3mg/L, 267.6±59.9 mmol/L, and 0.7±0.2 ng/mL, respectively, which were significant lower than those of the women in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Pidomod used for adjuvant treating women with non-gonococcal urethritis is effective, which can inhibit the expression of serum inflammatory factors, improve the local immune status of reproductive tract, and increase the negative rate of pathogen clearance.
