Abstract Objective: To analyze the influence of strategy of flow procedural health education on emotional state, disease knowledge awareness by family number, and satisfaction of women with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Methods: 116 patients with PID were divided into two groups (58 cases in each group) from July 2016 to June 2017. The women in the group A were given the strategy of streamlined health education based on the traditional nursing, and women in group B were given traditional nursing only. The women in the two groups were assessed by SAS and SDS before intervention and at the second week after the intervention. The eligibility rate of disease knowledge awareness and nursing satisfaction of women and their family member were compared between the two groups. Results: After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS of women in group A were 51.4±2.9 points and 50.6±3.1 points, which were significant lower than those (59.5±3.4 points and 58.3±3.5 points) of women in group B (P<0.05). The eligibility rate of disease knowledge awareness and the nursing satisfaction of family member in group A were 86.2% and 98.3%, which were significant higher than those (37.5% and 84.5%) of women in group B (P<0.05). Conclusion: The strategy of flow procedural health education of women with PID can significantly improve their negative emotional status, and improve the awareness rate of disease knowledge and satisfaction of family members.
