Abstract To compare the pregnancy outcomes of Cryoleaf and Cryoloop used as cryopreservation carriers during frozen thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. Methods: A retrospective study about women experienced FET in their embryos of different cryopreservation stages (cleavage embryos, day 3; blastocyst embryos, day 5/6) was conducted. The women were divided into Cryoleaf group and Croloop group according to different cryopreservation carriers. The pregnancy outcomes of women experienced FET were compared. Results: As for women in cleavage embryos stage, the embryo survival rate, implantation rate, and clinical pregnancy rate in Cryoleaf group were significant lower than those in Cryoloop group (P<0.05). As for women in blastocyst stage, the implantation rate in Cryoleaf group was significant lower than that in Cryoloop group (P<0.05), but there was no significant different in embryo survival rate and clinical pregnancy rate between Cryoleaf group and Cryoloop group (P>0.05). Conclusion: In the FET cycle, Cryoloop used as cryopreservation carrier can achieve better pregnancy outcomes when compared to that of Cryoleaf used.
