Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical effectiveness of intrauterine balloon combined with crosslinked sodium hyaluronate for preventing recurrence after severe uterine adhesion separation operation, and to observe drugs influencing on level of serum inflammatory factors of patients after operation. Methods: From August 2015 to August 2017, 106 patients with severe intrauterine adhesions who had experienced severe uterine adhesion separation operation in Aiwei Ai Fu gynecological hospital were randomly divided into control group and study group (53 cases in each group). The patients in control group were given intrauterine device (IUD), and the patients in study group were placed intrauterine Foley balloon, and crosslinked sodium hyaluronate were injected into balloon. The menstrual condition and the recurrence rate of intrauterine adhesions of patients in both groups were observed at 3 months after operation. Meanwhile, the level of serum tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα), high sensitivity C reactive protein (hsCRP) and interleukin 6 (IL6) of patients in both groups were detected. Results: The level of serum TNFα, hsCRP and IL6 of patients had no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05) before operation. After 3 months operation, The level of serum TNFα, hsCRP and IL6 of patients in both groups were lower than those before operation (P<0.05), and the level of serum TNFα, hsCRP and IL6 of patients in study group were lower than those of patients in control group. The rate of menstrual improvement (90.6%) of patients in study group was significant higher than that of patients in control group (69.8%), and the recurrence rate of intrauterine adhesions (18.9%) of patients in study group was significant lower than that of patients in control group (47.2%) (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with traditional treatment inserted IUD, balloon combined with crosslinked sodium hyaluronate can significantly reduce the level of inflam mation related factors, can reduce the incidence of readhesion, and can improve menstrual status.
