| Analysis of sociological factors influenced on couples with infertility who wanted the second child in some areas of Guangdong province |

Abstract Objective: To explore the sociological factors influenced on couples with infertility who wanted the second child. Methods: 1894 couples with infertility who wanted the second child were randomly divided into two groups (the treatment group and the control group) according to whether pregnancy after one year without contraception. Univariate analysis and multivariate unconditional logistic regression analysis were conducted for exploring the sociological factors influenced on couples with infertility who wanted the secondchild by SPSS 19.0 software. Results: The multivariate analysis had showed that age and body mass index(BMI) of both male and female, sleeping time of female, smoking history of male, birth interval, decoration history, per capita family income and residence area were significant different (P<0.05). However, there were no significant difference in their first child delivering way (natural delivery or cesarean section), abortion history , contraception, frequency of sexual life, drinking, smoking, eating habits and education level of female and drinking history of male(P>0.05). Conclusion: The factors of the couples’age, BMI, per capita family income, female sleep time, birth interval, decoration history, residence area, male smoking and drinking influence on infertility of couples who want the second child.
