Abstract To analyze and compare the effect of anticoagulation combined with acupoint massage for treating women with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (LEDVT) after caesarean section. Methods: From January 2010 to October 2016,100 women with LEDVT after caesarean section in the first hospital of Jilin university were randomly divided into control group (n=53) and observation group (n=47). The women in control group were given anticoagulant therapy, and the women in observation group were given anticoagulant combined with acupoint massage. The limb perimeter, blood vessel diameter, blood flow velocity, coagulation index and coagulation function, and safety of women were compared before and after treatment. The curative effect and safety of women were also compared between the two groups. Results: There were no significant differences in the limb perimeter, blood vessel velocity, blood flow velocity, and level of fibrinogen (FIB), Ddimer(DD), thrombin time (TT), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and platelet (PLT) of women between the two groups before treatment(P> 0.05). After treatment, compared with the women in control group, the level of FIB, DD or PLT was significantly lower(P<0.05), and the diameter of blood vessel, blood flow velocity, level of TT, PT and APTT of women were significantly higher than those of women in the observation group(P<0.05).The rate of effective of women in the control group were lower than that of women in the observation group (P<0.05), and there was no any woman with serious bleeding in both groups. Conclusion: Anticoagulation combined with acupoint massage can be used for treating of LEDVT after caesarean section by optimizing coagulation index and coagulation function.
