Abstract To study the effect of the transvaginal and the transabdominal color ultrasonography for diagnosing the endometrial lesions of menopausal women. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 300 menopausal women with endometrial lesions from January 2022 to January 2023. These women had been examined by the transvaginal and the transabdominal color ultrasonography and pathology. The pathological examination results were as the gold standard, the coincidence rate and the effect of the menopausal women for diagnosing their endometrial lesions were analyzed and were compared between the transvaginal color ultrasonography and the transabdominal color ultrasonography. Results: Based on 300 women with the pathological examination results, the rates of the endometrial hyperplasia, the atrophic endometrium, the endometrial cancer, the endometrial polyps and the submucosal myoma of the women were 32.7%, 13.0%, 7.3%, 28.7% and 18.33%, respectively. According to the postoperative pathologic results, the coincidence rates of diagnosing the endometrial lesions of the menopausal women by the transabdominal color ultrasonography, the transvaginal color ultrasonography and the combination of the transabdominal and transvaginal color ultrasonography were 59.1%, 77.3%, and 100.0%, and which had increased gradually (P<0.05). The accuracy of diagnosing the endometrial lesions of the menopausal women by the transabdominal color ultrasonography, the transvaginal color ultrasonography and the combination of the transabdominal and transvaginal color ultrasonography also had increased gradually (P<0.05). Conclusion: The effect of the transvaginal combined with the transabdominal color ultrasound for differential diagnosing the benign and malignant endometrial lesions of the menopausal women is better, and which of the transvaginal color ultrasound is superior to that of the transabdominal
color ultrasound.
