Abstract Preserving fertility of the patients with early endometrial cancer is currently a clinical concern, and the rational drug therapy has been regarded as a short-term alternative to traditional surgery. Currently, the therapy drugs mainly include progesterone, selective estrogen receptor modulator, mifepristone, gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist analogue, aromatase inhibitor and hysteroscopy combined with drug therapy, and all of which have achieved the good application results. However, considering the risk of the recurrence of malignant tumors, it is necessary to make a reasonable analysis of the medicine indications during actual clinical work, and the relevant follow-up surveys of the patients after treatment should be carried out to improve their pregnancy rate. At the same time, the prognosis of the tumor of the patients should also be given enough attention to ensure the life safety of the patients. This article reviews the current research status of the drug therapy for the preserving fertility of the patients with early endometrial cancer.
