Abstract To explore the impact of health education consultation and follow-up combined with community linkage follow-up based on artificial intelligence mode for women after abortion on their contraceptive attitude and behavior. Methods: A total of 354 women who had been abortion due to unplanned pregnancies were selected as the research subjects from June 2021 to June 2022. These women were randomly divided into intervention group (n=174) and control group (n=180). The women in the intervention group received health education consultation and follow-up combined with community linkage follow-up based on artificial intelligence mode for post-abortion care services, and the women in the control group received routine post-abortion care services. Contraception attitude scale was used to evaluate the contraceptive attitudes in the first 1 month after abortion, and the behavior and the repetitive rate of abortion in 12 months after abortion of the women in the two groups. Results: The contraceptive attitude score (44.38±6.54 points) of the women in the intervention group was significantly higher than that (37.16±5.04 points) of the women in the control group (P＜0.05). The median time of effective contraception implementation (5.03 months) of the women in the intervention group after abortion was significantly shorter than that (9.78 months) of the women in the control group. The repeated abortion rate (1.2%) of the women in the intervention group in 1 year after abortion was significantly lower than that (10.1%) of the women in the control group (all P＜0.05). Conclusion: The application of health education consultation and follow-up combined with community linkage follow-up based on artificial intelligence mode for the women after abortion can change their behavior and attitude for contraceptive, which can promote their implementation of contraceptive measures as soon as possible, and can reduce the recurrence of their repeated abortion.
