Abstract To study the application effect of autologous blood recycle and dilution reinfusion of women with pernicious placenta previa during cesarean section. Methods: 110 pregnant women with pernicious placenta previa who had undergone cesarean section were analyzed retrospectively, including 55 cases with autologous blood recycle in group A and 55 cases with dilution reinfusion mode in group B. The situations of perioperative bleeding and blood transfusion, the hemodynamic indexes, the blood indexes, the neonatal indexes, and the complications rate of the women were compared between the two groups. Results: There were no significant differences in the operation time, the intraoperative bleeding, the intraoperative allogeneic plasma transfusion volume, and the blood loss in postoperative 24h of the women between the two groups(P<0.05). The proportion of allogeneic blood transfusion(23.6%) of the women in group A was significantly lower than that(49.1%) of the women in group B(P<0.05). The volume of autologous blood recycle of the women in the two groups was 642.5±135.0ml(200-1600ml). There were no significant differences in the heart rate, the mean arterial pressure, and the pulse oxygen saturation before and after treatment of the women between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the values of platelet, hematopoietic volume, hemoglobin, and fibrinogen of the women in the two groups had decreased significantly, and the values of activated partial prothrombin time and prothrombin time of the women in the two groups had increased significantly(P<0.05), but all which of the women had no significant different between the two groups(P>0.05). There were no significant differences in the umbilical arterial blood pH and Apgar score at 5 minutes after birth of the newborns between the two groups(P>0.05). The duration of hospital stay(4.3±1.5d) and the incidence of postoperative complications(7.3%) of the women in group A were significantly lower than those(5.6±1.6d and 27.3%) of the women in group B(all P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of the autologous blood recycles and the dilution reinfusion mode of the women with pernicious placenta previa during cesarean section has the same effectiveness, but the autologous blood recycles reduces the proportion of the dilution reinfusion mode used, with less complications, and which is beneficial to the postoperative recovery of the women.
