Abstract To study the correlation between the coagulation indexes during pregnancy of the women with postpartum hemorrhage and their inflammation indexes. Methods: A prospective study was conducted to collect the clinical data of 92 pregnant women treated in hospital from May 2019 to May 2022. These women were divided 25 women with less volume (500-1000ml) of postpartum hemorrhage in group A, 20 women with profuse postpartum hemorrhage (>1000ml) in group B, and 47 women with normal hemorrhage after delivery (<500 ml) in group C. The values of the inflammatory indexes and coagulation indexes of the women during the first, the second, and the third trimester of pregnancy were compared among the three groups. The correlation between the coagulation indexes during pregnancy of the women with postpartum hemorrhage and their inflammation indexes was analyzed. Results: There were no significance differences in the values of the inflammatory indexes and coagulation indexes of the women during the first trimester of pregnancy among the three groups (P>0.05). With postpartum haemorrhage amount rise, the values of activated partial prothrombin time, prothrombin time, and thrombin time, the D dimer level, and the levels of the inflammatory indexes, such as interleukin 1β, tumor necrosis factor, and interleukin 6, of the women during the second and the third trimester of pregnancy had increased significantly, but the fibrinogen level of the women had decreased significantly. The values of the coagulation function indexes of the women during the second and the third trimester of pregnancy were correlated with their inflammatory factors levels (all P<0.05). Conclusion: The coagulation indexes during pregnancy of the women with postpartum hemorrhage were correlated with their inflammation indexes levels, and both of which can be used as the reference indexes for diagnosing the postpartum hemorrhage of the women.
