Abstract The etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) mainly includes genetic factors, anatomical factors, endocrine factors, and so on. It has become a hot topic to explore the cause of RSA on the gene level. In this paper, by summarizing the correlation between RSA of the women and their gene polymorphism of the relative genes about immune system, thrombosis, vascular factors, and inflammatory factors, and detoxification enzymes, and so on, the possible mechanism of gene polymorphism leading to RSA is explained, and which can provide some reference value for the etiological study of RSA.
