Abstract Early identification of the risk of intrauterine fetus during the third trimester of pregnancy can reduce fetal morbidity. Recent studies have found that uterine artery (UtA), middle cerebral artery (MCA) and ductus venosus (DV) are vital maternal or fetal blood vessels, and their changes on spectral or hemodynamic parameters of color doppler flow imaging (CDFI) can be used to predict fetal disease, such as fetal growth retardation (FGR), fetal anemia, fetal congenital heart disease (CHD), and so on, which provide the new clinical idea for evaluating uterine fetal growth and development. This review focuses on how to predict intrauterine fetal safety and dangerous based on CDFI of UtA, MCA and DV.
