The influence of different cardiac functional state of pregnant women with congenital heart disease on their cardiac adverse events |

Abstract To investigate the influence of different cardiac functional state of pregnant women with congenital heart disease on their cardiac adverse events. Methods: A total of 74 pregnant women with congenital heart disease in Yangbu township center hospital from March 2014 to February 2017 were divided into study group 1(NYHA functional class Ⅰ-Ⅱ) and study group 2 (NYHA functional class Ⅲ-Ⅳ)based on NYHA cardiac function classification of pregnant women. The incidence of cardiac adverse events and pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women were compared between the two groups. Results: The incidence of adverse cardiac events of pregnant women in study group 1 was 10.24%, which was significant lower than that (31.4%) of pregnant women in study group 2 (P<0.05).Two weeks after of pregnant termination or after delivery, there was no significant different in heart function of women between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion: In pregnant women with congenital heart disease, who has higher the NYHA class, has the greater risk of adverse cardiac events. And their heart function will be ameliorated after termination of pregnancy or delivery.
