Analgesic effect of intravenous infusion of lidocaine before anesthesia induction during hysterectomy and its influence on sleep quality of patients |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the analgesic effect of intravenous infusion of lidocaine before anesthesia induction during hysterectomy and its influence on sleep quality of patients. Methods: From May 2015 to May 2017, 86 patients underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy in Xinchang county people's hospital of Zhejiang province were divided into observation group and control group by random number table. The patients in observation group were injected with lidocaine (1.5mg/kg) before induction of anesthesia, and then lidocaine (2 mg/kg/h) were given continuously pumped into vein until the operations were completed, and the patients in control group were infuse the same amount of normal saline before induction of anesthesia. The situation during operation, the BCS comfort score, Ramsay sedation score, results of sleep monitoring, the number of patients controlled analgesia by themselves in postoperative 48 hours, the dose of sufentanil, and the incidence and recovery of postoperative adverse reactions of patients between the two groups were compared. Results: There were no significant difference in ASA classification, intraoperative dosage of sufentanil and propofol, operation time and recovery time after operation between the two groups (P>0.05). The BCS comfort score and the Ramsay sedation score of patients postoperative 6h, 12h, 24h and 48h in observation group were significant higher than those of patients in control group. The number of patient controlled analgesia by themselves and dosage of sufentanil used in 48 hours after surgery, the time of hospital stay, time to postoperative exhaust, time to postoperative defecation, and incidence of nausea of patients in observation were significant less than those of patients in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Intravenous infusion of lidocaine before anesthesia can improve the analgesic effect of patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy, can reduce the dosage of analgesic drugs, can correct sleep deprivation of patients, and can promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function.
